The shop of your stationery dreams, Papersmiths was co-founded by Sidonie Warren in 2013. Sidonie sources the cult classics and harder-to-find gems of the stationery world from designers and makers across the globe. Bringing her discoveries together in bricks-and-mortar stores in Brighton and Chelsea. Each space is a playground designed to inspire creative pursuits. Testing, scribbling and touching are encouraged by the store teams; all of whom are creators and stationery obsessives themselves.
Papersmiths’ debut stationery collection was designed by Sidonie in Hackney during the winter lockdowns. It launched in 2021 and includes pens made by our experts in Japan and six British-made notebooks.
You can shop online or visit Papersmiths stores in person on Pavilion Road in Chelsea and in Brighton’s North Laine.
Sidonie has been interviewed about stationery, design and business by the likes of Stylist, the BBC, the Financial Times and Sky News. Papersmiths has been featured by The Independent, Timeout, The Guardian, Creative Boom, National Geographic, Stylist, The Evening Standard, We-Heart, Wallpaper* and Buzzfeed and, in 2021, was named one of The Observer’s 50 Best Independent Shops in the UK.
